# NotePlan vs Tweek

The clearest difference is monetization model: Tweek at free with in-app purchases against NotePlan's subscription. Tweek also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly). NotePlan's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NotePlan sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Tweek sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for NotePlan against 4.8 for Tweek. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.5K and 1.3K respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 85% of NotePlan's written reviews are positive against 86% of Tweek's.

NotePlan ships an update monthly, Tweek weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
