# NotePlan vs Moleskine Planner

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NotePlan at 85% against Moleskine Planner's 39%. NotePlan also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Moleskine Planner's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). Both are free to download. NotePlan sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Moleskine Planner sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
