# NotePlan vs Daily Notes

The clearest difference is monetization model: Daily Notes at free with in-app purchases against NotePlan's subscription. Daily Notes also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 85%). NotePlan's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NotePlan sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Daily Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
