# Timestamper vs Lognote

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Lognote at 94% against Timestamper's 42%. Lognote also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Timestamper's advantage is ratings volume (171 vs 51) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timestamper sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Lognote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lognote holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 171 and 51 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 42% of Timestamper's written reviews are positive against 94% of Lognote's.
