# Timestamper vs Last Time

The clearest difference is rating: Timestamper at 4.1 against Last Time's 3.3. Timestamper also leads on ratings volume (171 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.1). Last Time's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 42%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timestamper sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Last Time sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timestamper holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timestamper has 171 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Timestamper's written reviews are positive against 75% of Last Time's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Timestamper ships an update every 2 months, Last Time monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
