# Timestamper vs Sink

The clearest difference is rating: Sink at 4.8 against Timestamper's 4.1. Sink also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 42%). Timestamper's advantage is ratings volume (171 vs 8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timestamper sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Sink sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sink holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timestamper has 171 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 42% of Timestamper's written reviews are positive against 50% of Sink's.

Timestamper ships an update every 2 months, Sink every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
