# ABC Monsters vs ABC

The clearest difference is rating: ABC Monsters at 5.0 against ABC's 4.1. ABC Monsters also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). ABC's advantage is ratings volume (2.9K vs 1) and review sentiment (50% vs 33%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ABC sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. ABC Monsters asks for nothing beyond the download.

ABC Monsters holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ABC has 2.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of ABC Monsters's written reviews are positive against 50% of ABC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ABC Monsters ships an update every 5 weeks, ABC every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
