# Mindlist vs RushList Task Manager Planner

The clearest difference is monetization model: Mindlist at freemium against RushList Task Manager Planner's subscription. Mindlist also leads on ratings volume (1.6K vs 18). RushList Task Manager Planner's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 76%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindlist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and RushList Task Manager Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Mindlist against 4.8 for RushList Task Manager Planner. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindlist has 1.6K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of Mindlist's written reviews are positive against 100% of RushList Task Manager Planner's.

Mindlist ships an update fortnightly, RushList Task Manager Planner every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
