# Mindlist vs BIFF

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mindlist at fortnightly against BIFF's every 2 months. BIFF's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindlist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and BIFF sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mindlist ships an update fortnightly, BIFF every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
