# 12 LOCKS 3 vs Invictor Detective

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 12 LOCKS 3 at none against Invictor Detective's 10. 12 LOCKS 3 also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 47) and review sentiment (87% vs 79%). Invictor Detective's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Invictor Detective sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. 12 LOCKS 3 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Invictor Detective holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 12 LOCKS 3 has 2K ratings behind it against 47, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of 12 LOCKS 3's written reviews are positive against 79% of Invictor Detective's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

12 LOCKS 3 ships an update every 6 months, Invictor Detective fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
