# Trelli vs Friends

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Trelli at none against Friends's 1. Trelli also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Friends sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Trelli asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Trelli against 5.0 for Friends. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trelli has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Trelli's written reviews are positive against 75% of Friends's.

Trelli ships an update every 2 weeks, Friends fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 4, 2026.
