# BVB vs WirLilien

The clearest difference is ads: WirLilien at none against BVB's shown. WirLilien also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). BVB's advantage is ratings volume (570 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WirLilien holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BVB has 570 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of BVB's written reviews are positive against 71% of WirLilien's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BVB ships an update fortnightly, WirLilien every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
