# Kawaii SELECT vs Asterwake

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Kawaii SELECT at 1.5K against Asterwake's 1. Asterwake's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Asterwake holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kawaii SELECT has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
