# Antenna Pointer vs DVB

The clearest difference is ads: DVB at none against Antenna Pointer's shown. DVB also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). Antenna Pointer's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Antenna Pointer sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and DVB sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Antenna Pointer ships an update every 2 months, DVB every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
