# Simple Calendar vs Date Today

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Simple Calendar at 60% against Date Today's 29%. Simple Calendar also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.1). Date Today's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Calendar sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Date Today sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
