# Homeless Trader vs Life Simulator

The clearest difference is ads: Homeless Trader at none against Life Simulator's shown. Homeless Trader also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 289). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Homeless Trader sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Life Simulator sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Homeless Trader against 4.6 for Life Simulator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Homeless Trader has 1.5K ratings behind it against 289, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 71% of Homeless Trader's written reviews are positive against 74% of Life Simulator's.

Homeless Trader ships an update every 5 days, Life Simulator fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
