# SET vs Block Codex

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Block Codex at none against SET's 19. Block Codex also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). SET's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SET sells 19 one-off in-app purchases. Block Codex asks for nothing beyond the download.

Block Codex holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SET has 1.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
