# mimi vs Countdown Widget

The clearest difference is update cadence: Countdown Widget at daily against mimi's monthly. mimi's advantage is ratings volume (8K vs 26) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. mimi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Countdown Widget sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

mimi holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: mimi has 8K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of mimi's written reviews are positive against 100% of Countdown Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

mimi ships an update monthly, Countdown Widget daily. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
