# Capsules vs Until

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Capsules at none against Until's 1. Until's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Until sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Capsules asks for nothing beyond the download.

Capsules ships an update every 10 months, Until every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 8, 2026.
