Play Go against AI at every level, from Beginner Coach up to Max AI, then review the game and check the score estimate. The KataGo engine runs right on your phone: no account, no internet, and it works offline. New players get an opponent that won’t overwhelm them; stronger players get one that pushes back. OPPONENTS, FROM COACH TO MAX AI • Beginner Coach: the lowest level, but every move is the one that keeps the game closest to 50/50, so you have room to practice • 15 kyu, amateur dan levels, pro dan levels, then Super AI and Max AI: one app that goes from first games to dan strength • 9×9, 13×13 and 19×19 boards, with Chinese or Japanese rules • Adjustable handicap and komi, with a one-tap reset to the default komi • Want White? Switch before the first move DURING A GAME • Coach toggle: turn it on for a win rate bar, candidate moves and hints, or off for a clean board • Undo, Estimate, Pass and Game Over are always one tap away • At the end, the result and each side’s score come from the engine’s margin; switch between Area and Territory counting • Save the game to Records. Leave mid-game and tap Resume Last Game to pick up where you stopped REVIEW AFTER THE GAME • Step forward and back, or drag the slider to any move • A win rate chart shows where the game turned, with good moves and questionable moves marked on the board and the chart • Estimate shows Black and White territory; switch between Black view and White view • Import SGF records and let the AI analyze them, with progress shown as it goes • Rename or delete any record WHAT’S FREE, WHAT’S PAID Free: every opponent level except Beginner Coach, plus handicap, komi, coach hints and win rate, undo, estimate, scoring, record management, SGF import and analysis, and review. No limits on games, no ads. You can play a full game, save it and review it without paying. Paid: only the Beginner Coach opponent needs unlocking. Choose Lifetime (pay once, keep it forever, no renewal) or Yearly (renews every year, cancel anytime). Beginner Coach games you already saved can still be viewed and reviewed, and an unfinished one can still be finished, even when it’s locked. Yearly is an auto-renewing subscription: payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, and it renews automatically within 24 hours before the period ends unless you cancel beforehand under Subscriptions in your system Settings.
