# AIvRecorder vs iThinkNote

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: AIvRecorder at 12.1 against iThinkNote's 15.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AIvRecorder sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and iThinkNote sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
