# AR Cam 4D+ vs ProductionCrate

The clearest difference is rating: ProductionCrate at 3.9 against AR Cam 4D+'s 3.0. ProductionCrate also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (312 vs 1). AR Cam 4D+'s advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 59%) and in-app purchases (none vs 5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProductionCrate sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. AR Cam 4D+ asks for nothing beyond the download.

ProductionCrate holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProductionCrate has 312 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of AR Cam 4D+'s written reviews are positive against 59% of ProductionCrate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AR Cam 4D+ ships an update every 7 months, ProductionCrate monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
