# MindBites vs Nerdish

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Nerdish at 2.7K against MindBites's 2. Nerdish also leads on chart position (#74 vs unranked). MindBites's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 60%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindBites sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per 7 days and Nerdish sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MindBites holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nerdish has 2.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of MindBites's written reviews are positive against 60% of Nerdish's.

MindBites ships an update every 8 days, Nerdish every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
