# Check Lottery vs Scanner

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Scanner at 49% against Check Lottery's 0%. Scanner also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 1) and chart position (#190 vs unranked). Check Lottery's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 37 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Check Lottery sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Scanner sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Check Lottery holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scanner has 11K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Check Lottery's written reviews are positive against 49% of Scanner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Check Lottery ships an update weekly, Scanner every 37 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
