# FANTS (ファンツ) vs Kaiteki

The clearest difference is rating: Kaiteki at 2.7 against FANTS (ファンツ)'s 1.0. Kaiteki also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). FANTS (ファンツ)'s advantage is review sentiment (32% vs 0%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kaiteki holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kaiteki has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of FANTS (ファンツ)'s written reviews are positive against 0% of Kaiteki's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FANTS (ファンツ) ships an update fortnightly, Kaiteki every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
