# Discard vs Tarot Solitaire Collection

The clearest difference is rating: Discard at 4.2 against Tarot Solitaire Collection's 1.0. Discard also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 months). Tarot Solitaire Collection's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 71%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Discard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tarot Solitaire Collection sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Discard holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Discard has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Discard's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tarot Solitaire Collection's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Discard ships an update every 3 days, Tarot Solitaire Collection every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
