# Discard vs Mind the Cards

The clearest difference is update cadence: Discard at every 3 days against Mind the Cards's every 6 weeks. Discard also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Discard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mind the Cards sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Discard ships an update every 3 days, Mind the Cards every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
