# Jinks! vs Notebook Artillery

The clearest difference is ads: Jinks! at none against Notebook Artillery's shown. Jinks! also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 82%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). Notebook Artillery's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.2) and chart position (#56 vs unranked). On in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Jinks! costs $1.99 and Notebook Artillery $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Notebook Artillery holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notebook Artillery has 148 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Jinks!'s written reviews are positive against 82% of Notebook Artillery's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Jinks! ships an update every 5 days, Notebook Artillery every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
