# مقاطع vs Video Compressor

The clearest difference is ads: Video Compressor at none against مقاطع's shown. مقاطع's advantage is ratings volume (775 vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. مقاطع sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Video Compressor sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for مقاطع against 4.5 for Video Compressor. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: مقاطع has 775 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

مقاطع ships an update every 2 months, Video Compressor every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
