The clearest difference is rating: Split Screen View at 4.4 against Split Screen Multitasking Tool's 3.7. Split Screen View also leads on ratings volume (839 vs 6). Split Screen Multitasking Tool's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 19%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Split Screen View sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Split Screen Multitasking Tool sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
