# Split Screen View vs Multi Space

The clearest difference is rating: Split Screen View at 4.4 against Multi Space's 4.0. Split Screen View also leads on ratings volume (844 vs 51). Multi Space's advantage is review sentiment (39% vs 19%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Split Screen View sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Multi Space sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Split Screen View holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Split Screen View has 844 ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Split Screen View's written reviews are positive against 39% of Multi Space's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Split Screen View ships an update every 6 weeks, Multi Space every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
