# Layal vs NAFS

The clearest difference is ads: NAFS at none against Layal's shown. NAFS also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 months). Layal's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs freemium). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Layal ships an update every 6 months, NAFS every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
