# SailTies vs Seanapps

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SailTies at 93% against Seanapps's 24%. SailTies also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (397 vs 74). Seanapps's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SailTies sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $44.99 per year and Seanapps sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $229.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SailTies holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SailTies has 397 ratings behind it against 74, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 93% of SailTies's written reviews are positive against 24% of Seanapps's.

SailTies ships an update every 3 weeks, Seanapps fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
