# WeWork vs Sama professional

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sama professional at free against WeWork's free with in-app purchases. Sama professional also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). WeWork's advantage is ratings volume (7.4K vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sama professional holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WeWork has 7.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WeWork ships an update every 5 weeks, Sama professional every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
