# WeWork vs Turf Tools

The clearest difference is monetization model: Turf Tools at free against WeWork's free with in-app purchases. Turf Tools also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). WeWork's advantage is ratings volume (7.4K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Turf Tools holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WeWork has 7.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WeWork ships an update every 5 weeks, Turf Tools every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
