# CDL Prep Master vs CDL Prep

The clearest difference is rating: CDL Prep Master at 5.0 against CDL Prep's 4.6. CDL Prep's advantage is ratings volume (329 vs 2) and update cadence (every 6 months vs every 15 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CDL Prep Master sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CDL Prep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CDL Prep Master holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CDL Prep has 329 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CDL Prep Master ships an update every 15 months, CDL Prep every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
