# Unicorn Catch vs 5 Seconds

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Unicorn Catch at none against 5 Seconds's 1. Unicorn Catch also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). 5 Seconds's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 5 Seconds sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Unicorn Catch asks for nothing beyond the download.

5 Seconds holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unicorn Catch has 1.3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of Unicorn Catch's written reviews are positive against 100% of 5 Seconds's.

Unicorn Catch ships an update monthly, 5 Seconds every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
