# Forte vs Habit Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Forte at 4.4 against Habit Tracker's 3.3. Forte also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (44 vs 3). Habit Tracker's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (100% vs 67%). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forte sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Habit Tracker asks for nothing beyond the download.

Forte holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forte has 44 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Forte's written reviews are positive against 100% of Habit Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Forte ships an update every 2 weeks, Habit Tracker every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
