# Forte vs LittlePlotter

The clearest difference is update cadence: Forte at every 2 weeks against LittlePlotter's every 5 months. Forte also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forte sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and LittlePlotter sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Forte ships an update every 2 weeks, LittlePlotter every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
