# Brushes for Procreate vs PixelStitch

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PixelStitch at 88% against Brushes for Procreate's 48%. PixelStitch also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Brushes for Procreate's advantage is ratings volume (20K vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brushes for Procreate sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and PixelStitch sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PixelStitch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brushes for Procreate has 20K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of Brushes for Procreate's written reviews are positive against 88% of PixelStitch's.

Brushes for Procreate ships an update every 2 months, PixelStitch every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
