# SnapMath vs MathMaster

SnapMath and MathMaster both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 59% of SnapMath's written reviews are positive against 31% of MathMaster's. MathMaster's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 1.6K) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 8 days). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SnapMath sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and MathMaster sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for SnapMath against 4.6 for MathMaster. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MathMaster has 12K ratings behind it against 1.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of SnapMath's written reviews are positive against 31% of MathMaster's.

SnapMath ships an update every 8 days, MathMaster every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
