# Magnet Linker vs D Manager IDM

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Magnet Linker at 71% against D Manager IDM's 41%. D Manager IDM's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magnet Linker sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and D Manager IDM sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

D Manager IDM holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 779 and 1.4K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Magnet Linker's written reviews are positive against 41% of D Manager IDM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magnet Linker ships an update every 2 weeks, D Manager IDM fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
