# Magnet Linker vs Easy Transfer Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Magnet Linker at 4.3 against Easy Transfer Pro's 2.5. Magnet Linker also leads on ratings volume (779 vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Easy Transfer Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 71%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magnet Linker sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Easy Transfer Pro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.29 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magnet Linker holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magnet Linker has 779 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Magnet Linker's written reviews are positive against 100% of Easy Transfer Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magnet Linker ships an update every 2 weeks, Easy Transfer Pro every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
