# Magnet Linker vs TIFF Viewer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TIFF Viewer at 100% against Magnet Linker's 71%. Magnet Linker's advantage is ratings volume (779 vs 1) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magnet Linker sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and TIFF Viewer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magnet Linker holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magnet Linker has 779 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Magnet Linker's written reviews are positive against 100% of TIFF Viewer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magnet Linker ships an update every 2 weeks, TIFF Viewer every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
