# Magnet Linker vs BitManager

The clearest difference is rating: Magnet Linker at 4.3 against BitManager's 3.7. Magnet Linker also leads on ratings volume (781 vs 3). BitManager's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magnet Linker sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and BitManager sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magnet Linker holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magnet Linker has 781 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Magnet Linker ships an update every 2 weeks, BitManager fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
