# Red Roof vs KeyShare

The clearest difference is rating: KeyShare at 5.0 against Red Roof's 2.4. KeyShare also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 18.6). Red Roof's advantage is ratings volume (88 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KeyShare holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Red Roof has 88 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Red Roof ships an update every 5 weeks, KeyShare every 10 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
