# ShiftBOOKD vs FIX

The clearest difference is ads: ShiftBOOKD at none against FIX's shown. ShiftBOOKD also leads on ratings volume (37 vs 1). FIX's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs freemium). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for ShiftBOOKD against 5.0 for FIX. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ShiftBOOKD has 37 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ShiftBOOKD ships an update every 2 weeks, FIX every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
