# Starfish Smart Lighting vs LUX Control

Starfish Smart Lighting and LUX Control both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of LUX Control's written reviews are positive against 52% of Starfish Smart Lighting's. Starfish Smart Lighting's advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 73). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LUX Control holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7.
