# Starfish Smart Lighting vs Setar HomeNet

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Starfish Smart Lighting at 1K against Setar HomeNet's 32. Starfish Smart Lighting also leads on update cadence (every 5 months vs every 14 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Starfish Smart Lighting against 4.7 for Setar HomeNet. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Starfish Smart Lighting has 1K ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two.
