# Remote Buddy Mobile 2 vs UniPad

The clearest difference is rating: Remote Buddy Mobile 2 at 4.6 against UniPad's 3.7. Remote Buddy Mobile 2 also leads on ratings volume (35 vs 3). UniPad's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 12 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Remote Buddy Mobile 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remote Buddy Mobile 2 has 35 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Remote Buddy Mobile 2's written reviews are positive against 100% of UniPad's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Remote Buddy Mobile 2 ships an update every 12 months, UniPad every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
